Green Lea First School

Green Lea is a  small, nurturing, rural school at the heart of the community situated in the beautiful Staffordshire countryside just outside of Stone. We provide a safe and supportive environment with small class sizes. Every child enjoys Forest School weekly and well-being is paramount. 

At Green Lea First School we 'Learn, Explore' Achieve'.

    Lights, Camel, Action, 2 The Sequin A huge well done to all the children for performing the Christmas shows during the last week. Your hard work, excitement and festive spirit shone brighter than ever. We are so proud of you all. A massive thank you to FoGL for providing the raffle and refreshments, to Team Green Lea for their hours of work pulling it all together and you the families who help the children practice at home.     Nursery Christmas Craft Session We had a lovely time yesterday at our Nursery Christmas Craft Session. It was great to have families join in and take part in the activities with the children. Everyone enjoyed making festive crafts together, and it was a lovely way to start our festive week in School. #LearnExploreAchieve #Christmas

    Celebrating our talented children We are delighted to share that Phoebe was awarded Runner- Up in this year's Creative Learning Partnership Trust - CLPT Christmas Card Competition, her festive design really impressed the judges. We are especially proud of this achievement as there was lots of entries across the 11 schools. Thank you to Mr Compton, CEO of the Trust, for visiting our school to present Phoebe with her award. #LearnExploreAchieve

    Makers Market Success A huge well done to all of our wonderful children who worked so hard to design and create fantastic ideas to sell. Your creativity and effort shone through!
